About Pima Pets
Our Story
Non-profit pet care from a family of animal lovers. We don't cage or kennel pets -- they're not criminals, and they shouldn't be locked up!
Your pets will get lots of love from a dog & cat first aid certified family.
We've been taking care of pets since 2019. We take a limited number of pets (4-6 larger dogs and 4-6 smaller ones, and 3-4 cats). Dad works at home, so he’s always there, and the kids take turns playing with the pets, feeding them and cleaning up after them.
Our Prices
Cats: $15/night
Dogs: $25/night
We offer discounts for longer-term stays and stays with multiple pets –
call us to discuss.
Holiday rates are $30/night for dogs and $20/night for cats.
Our Process
Small dogs stay in our house, and have free reign.
Dogs over 30 lbs are kept outside, and we check on them and do playtimes a few times a day.
If your dog is over 30 lbs, we need to do a one-night trial stay before taking your pet for a longer period. We offer trials on Fridays and Saturdays. We’re trying to see if your pet barks loudly late at night or early in the morning. The great thing about trials is that when you bring your pet back for a longer stay, he/she will already know us and won’t have separation anxiety when their parents leave.
